New Cobra Kai Clip Highlights Fallout From Season 6 Part 2 Cliffhanger

There will be consequences.
By Todd BlackFebruary 10, 2025
Cobra Kai

We’re only a few days away from the arrival of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3, which will premiere the final five episodes for fans to watch in the epic karate saga. Today, a new clip was dropped on the series’ official Twitter handle, and it brought forth a sobering reminder of how Cobra Kai Season Part 2 ended. Specifically, the clip highlights how Kreese, Kim, and the rest of their dojo must return to mourn the loss of Kwon, who died after getting stabbed by Kreese’s knife that Kwon had picked up to fight Axel to the death.

What’s interesting about this clip isn’t the Jedi-style funeral for Kwon but the fact that Kreese and Kim are fully taking responsibility for what happened and not simply writing it off. The tease of consequences from Kim’s father is also an interesting element that could come into play here.

Fighting without balance can come at a cost and Kwon paid the ultimate price. 🥋 The final round begins Thursday. 👊🔥 pic.twitter.com/MLHCkS8vwV

We know that Tory will be fighting in the tournament, so Cobra Kai will be represented regardless. The question is, will the dojo be able to substitute a captain in Kwon’s place? Or will things just progress as if he couldn’t compete? We’ll find out when Part 3 drops on Netflix this Thursday!

For our thoughts on Part 2, read our review!
