Xbox Partner Preview Coming Thursday

By Todd BlackOctober 14, 2024
Xbox Partner Preview

Microsoft and the Xbox brand haven’t been doing the best recently on multiple levels, but they have been trying to turn things around to show gamers that they have things that are of interest to them. The next attempt to get people to their side will come this Thursday via an Xbox Partner Preview. The “no-fluff” presentation will be a chance for multiple partners to showcase numerous titles that will come to the Xbox line of systems over the next year or so.

On the official Xbox page for this event, they note:

We’re thrilled to announce the next Xbox Partner Preview – our no-fluff, all-games broadcast – is coming this Thursday, October 17. In the latest installment, we’ll feature a mix of new and upcoming games for you from incredible partners like Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and many more, with over a dozen new trailers over the course of around 25 minutes.

During Xbox Partner Preview, you’ll get a first look at gameplay from Alan Wake II’s next expansion, The Lake House, an action-packed new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a peek at multiple bosses in dark-fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, multiple world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass.

While they are hyping this up, this doesn’t highlight if any of these titles, or others shown, will be exclusive to Microsoft platforms. We already know that the ones they’ve listed aren’t exclusives, so that might be another knock against them. Only time will tell.
