Nintendo Alarmo Revealed. Yes, They’re Releasing An Alarm Clock

By Todd BlackOctober 9, 2024
Nintendo Alarmo, Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo

Look, I’ve seen Nintendo do some weird and wild things over the years, but this one might take the cake for “bold ideas” that they hope sell well. Meet the Nintendo Alarmo, or the “Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo.” Yeah, I’m going with the shorter name here.

Anyway, this is a full-on alarm clock that won’t just wake you up in the morning, it’ll wake you up to the sound of Nintendo games! No, really. Five games can wake you up in the morning, from Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and even Ring Fit Adventure! That’s not random at all.

Furthermore, the clock actually senses your movement and turns off when you finally get out of bed. You don’t even have to manually turn it off! New games will be added over time, and there are other features that will help ensure you get restful sleep and then track how much sleep you get.

If you’re up for getting the Nintendo Alarmo, you can get it via the My Nintendo Store right now. It’ll only cost you $100…plus tax. But keep in mind that for now, the only way you can purchase the Alarmo is if you are a paid Nintendo Switch Online member. This is a fantastic way to ensure that those pesky scalpers can’t swoop in and snag them all, just to put them on eBay.
