The lineup of games that will be featured on the main stages for EVO France 2025, the latest EVO event in Europe, has been revealed—and one game in particular was notably left out. This event was announced near the end of EVO 2024.
As expected, all the popular games are included, such as Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. Notably, Dragon Ball FighterZ is returning after its absence at EVO 2024. It’s also exciting to see that the latest Fatal Fury title, Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, made the cut—this game is going to be huge, just wait and see!

However, the big news is the absence of Mortal Kombat 1 from this lineup, despite it being part of the EVO 2024 roster. Many felt it wasn’t the best fit for EVO, and its omission from EVO France 2025 may signal a decline in its presence at future EVO events. That said, it’s still possible the game will appear as a side tournament option.
