Death Note to Receive Video Game on PlayStation Consoles

By Josh PiedraOctober 14, 2024

Bandai Namco announced that Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s Death Note series will be receiving a video game on PlayStation 5!

The game has yet to be announced; however, it was discovered via the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee as they have given a rating for a game involving the series. Since the title is unannounced, details such as the story and the release date are unknown; however, it was shown that the game will be available for both PlayStation 4 and 5.

The rating also revealed that the game will be rated for ages 15 and up.

The manga is being distributed by VIZ Media. A television anime adaptation along with numerous anime and live-action movies have also been produced throughout the years. Ohba and Obata have also gone on to create other series together such as Bakuman and Platinum End.
