Thunderbolts Movie Gets Official Trailer

Careful who you assemble.
By Todd BlackSeptember 23, 2024
Thunderbolts Movie

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in an…odd place right now. You might think it’s “back in business” after Deadpool & Wolverine, but that technically wasn’t an MCU film. The real “test” is coming next year when multiple films drop to steer the MCU toward the next Avengers films. One such film is the Thunderbolts Movie, which will bring together Black Widow II, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, US Agent, and Winter Soldier to try and…well…we’re not fully sure yet.

The first official trailer for the film highlights that “confusion,” as the various characters are brought together, are then almost killed, and must figure out what’s going on.

The “big joke” that Marvel keeps making about this movie is the asterisk in the title, which many are already guessing will be changed to “Dark Avengers,” but we’ll have to see how that goes. Regardless, this will be one of the big tests for the MCU next year, so we’ll have to wait and see how it goes.
