Citales Games is excited to share “Witch the Showdown” a high-speed parry action x deck-building roguelike game! Check out their brand new Steam store page and shiny new game trailer. Witch the Showdown will also be exhibiting at Tokyo Game Show 2024.

Witch the Showdown is a game that combines two popular contemporary genres. Set in a world where science and fantasy have merged, players will choose their favorite witch and aid them in winning a fighting tournament. Witches will parry enemy attacks at high speed all while fighting with cards and accumulating mana.

The game has been selected as a participant of the So-Fu accelerator program. A demo will be available at Tokyo Game Show in Halls 9-10 Indie Game Corner 09-C35 (iGi/So-Fu booth).

Become The Next Fighting Tournament Champion!

Select your favorite witch and compete against rivals, classmates and childhood friends as you aim for the top!

A Tense Boss Rush And High-Difficulty Card Battler

The gameplay implements a real-time action card battle system where you’ll be parrying enemies, accumulating mana and attacking via cards. By accumulating the required mana for each card, you’ll be able to activate a burst effect and attack unilaterally.

There are no play-through matches, every opponent is a boss character where both the stakes and difficulty are high!

Deck-Building, Board Game-Style:

Regroup between battles by building your deck through a board game structure. Here you’ll be able to strengthen your characters, plus obtain cards and accessories from the shop to build the deck that you use in battle.

Stay up to date on the latest information on Witch the Showdown by following game creator, Nana Kiryu! To those who are attending Tokyo Game Show 2024, we’ll see you at Hall 9-10 Indie Game Corner 09-C35 at the iGi/So-Fu Booth!
