Atelier Yumia Explores New Ground In The Atelier Series

By Scott AdamsAugust 27, 2024

Atelier fans were given great news during the Nintendo Direct this morning, a new game in the series. Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land will be coming out in 2025.

Atelier Yumia seems to have gotten a bigger budget than the beginning of other Atelier game series. The lighting effects and the character models are higher quality. The alchemy system seems to have been changed and there is a new system to design your atelier. There was a moment in which Yumia gets to decide between two courses of action. This could indicate a branching story path or it could just be a way to tackle a problem differently. We will have to wait til September 2nd for the full stream about Atelier Yumia to see a deeper dive for that.

The next surprise of news from Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land is the platforms it will be releasing on. Atelier Yumia releases 2025 on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox consoles. Atelier is a series that is notable for not being on the Xbox ecosystem. That changes with this title. I am excited to see how the Xbox console only players take the reception of this game on Xbox. I also think it is an indication for it to be a title that will be used as a good entry point into the series. I am pumped to see the Atelier series get more fans.

Be on the lookout for more information regarding Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land as it comes.
