First Episode Synopsis
Koshi is the model girl at school. Beautiful, popular, perfect in every way. Exactly what you would expect from a former delinquent! On the way to school, a deer girl is hanging from the power lines. After being guilt-tripped into saving her, the girl, Shikanoko, joins Koshi’s class as the new transfer student by breaking through the front door and sending debris flying into everyone’s faces. Of course, he seat is right next to Koshi’s. The two hit it off well almost immediately with Shikanoko being careful and courteous to reveal that she’s a former delinquent and a virgin, thus destroying her wholesome image.
She repays Koshi’s kindness by leaving a massive pile of deer crackers on her desk and even offers to let her eat one of her antlers! After this, Shikanoko nearly dies from self-antler impalement while cleaning the storage shed which is now the new home base for the Deer Club! Because Koshi helped her, she’s the president of the club and is in charge of taking care of the deer… by brushing her daily. An evil presence is nearby that could spell the beginning of the Deer Club’s biggest battle to date!
Worth Watching?
YES – There is no deep analysis needed here. This is 4th wall-breaking, brain-dead humor. If you want to turn your mind off and not question just what the hell you are watching in order to have a laugh or two, this is the show for you.
Plus, the comedy is very well done.
One thing is for certain… expect the internet to get flooded with endless memes courtesy of this show.
