Kessoku Band Reaches Platinum Certification with First Album

Kessoku Band, the real-life band spawned from the BOCCHI THE ROCK! anime has sold 250,000 copies of their first album making it platinum certified! The album reached 100,000 copies (gold status) in February.

The platinum status was confirmed by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

BOCCHI THE ROCK! ran from October to December 2022 and can be watched on Crunchyroll. Yen Press is currently releasing the 4-koma-style manga series.
