Studio Ghibli Fest 2024 Continues With Two More Movies

By Josh PiedraMay 9, 2024
Studio Ghibli

Tickets are on sale now for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky – the beloved early films of Studio Ghibli from Academy Award®-winning director Hayao Miyazaki. Both films return to theaters in May for two nationwide screenings of each title. Coming off the blockbuster theatrical release, and triumphant Oscar® win for the director’s latest feature, The Boy and the Heron, GKIDS and Fathom are thrilled to continue Studio Ghibli Fest with the 2024 edition featuring the celebrated filmmaker’s staples. Audiences can look forward to Studio Ghibli Fest 2024’s biggest slate of films to date with a 14-title lineup, and anniversary celebrations including Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind’s 40th anniversary, Howl’s Moving Castle’s 20th Anniversary, Kiki’s Delivery Service’s 25th Anniversary, and Pom Poko’s 30th Anniversary.

The films will be shown in both original Japanese and English dubbed versions. In addition to the full feature, screenings will include a special look behind the scenes at the Studio Ghibli Park in Nagoya, Japan.

Tickets for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky can be purchased online by visiting GhibliFest.com, FathomEvents.com, or at participating theater box offices (Theaters and participants are subject to change).
