Capcom Will Partner Up With CSMG for Street Fighter 6 Tournament

The Collegiate Sports Management Group will be in a partnership with Capcom to bring about a 2024-25 Street Fighter 6 tournament. Alongside Valorant, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Overwatch 2. 80+ Colleges and Universities will be battling it out. Starting this year and ending in May 2025. Institutions with a 2-year or 4-year tenure will be able to participate(with selected qualifiers).

McDonald’s will be also backing this mega event. The Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC) will make its return to the Esports Stadium in Arlington.  Taking the Commissioner of the College Street Fighter Tour role will be Wim Stocks. Stocks has 2 decades of Esports experience.

The first event, May Madness, will kick things off for the tour. More information will be coming soon.
