Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to Modify Your Character and Pawn

How to Modify Your Character & Pawn In Dragon's Dogma 2

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you start your adventure with a highly detailed character editor. However, you may find that you want to tweak your or your pawn’s appearance as you progress through the game. Fortunately, changing the look of both your character and your pawn, including their race, is possible and doesn’t require real money. Here’s how you can adjust the appearance of both your Arisen and your pawn.

To change your character’s appearance, simply visit a Barber Shop. You will find several of these, including one in Vernworth, which is the first major city you’ll visit in the game. At the barber shop, talk to the proprietor and choose what you want to change. For practical reasons, you might want to use the “Multiple Edit” option to alter your hairstyle, makeup, or skin markings all at once.

Keep in mind that you cannot alter your body’s appearance (height, weight, and other options) from this menu. For that, you will need “Art of Metamorphosis” tickets. These can be purchased through microtransactions or at the Pawn Guild store in Vernworth for 500 CF.

The process for changing your pawn’s appearance is similar to that of changing your own. However, you absolutely need an Art of Metamorphosis ticket for your pawn. With one in your inventory, when you talk to the NPC running the barber shop, you can choose to “Modify Appearance” and decide whether to change your pawn or your Arisen.

Changing the appearance of your character and pawn in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is straightforward, thanks to the accessible services in Vernworth. Whether you need a simple haircut change or a complete transformation, the game provides the tools you need to tailor your character’s look to your preference without the need for real money, ensuring your journey in this fantastical world is as personal and engaging as possible.
