League of Legends Fighting Game “Project L” Playable at EVO 2023

Riot Games has revealed its upcoming League of Legends fighting game, “Project L,” will be playable at EVO 2023, along with a newly added character to the roster, Yasuo. EVO 2023 runs from August 4 to 6, 2023.

In a new gameplay trailer, Riot Games has announced that LOL champions Yasuo, Ahri, Darius, and Ekko, will be playable in a new build. This is exclusive to EVO 2023, and there’s no word on whether this demo will be available to everyone stuck at home, like me.

Check out the trailer below.

With Tom Cannon being involved, I know it will be another fighting game I’m looking forward to. For those who aren’t familiar with the game, Tom Cannon, along with his brother Tony Cannon, founded the EVO Championship Series and is responsible for the rollback netcode program, GGPO.

If you haven’t heard about Project L, Riot Games has been releasing videos from time to time, including this new one that explains how to play to play the game.

Currently, Project L doesn’t have an official name, nor does it have a release window. We don’t even know what platforms the game will be released on.

If you’re at EVO 2023 or will be heading out, I recommend you try the demo and maybe let us know what you think about it.
