Can’t Wait to Play Armored Core 6 Thanks to New Gameplay Footage

By Keith MitchellJuly 25, 2023
armored-core-6-release-date

While we’ve seen footage of Armored Core 6, either via the eyes of influencers or YouTubers and several gaming outlets, nothing has prepared us for what we just witnessed. I mean, nothing, especially if you’re a fan of mecha games and have been starved due to the lack of games being released for this genre.

Fromsoftware showed off new gameplay from Armored Core 6, and there wasn’t a thing that didn’t look damned impressive. This new footage went further than anyone has seen thus far, including some sexy ground and air combat, as well as some chatter via comms, which I was hoping would be in the game.

What we haven’t seen before is the precise dashing mechanic that will help you move a lot easier and fast across the landscapes and make you feel like you’re piloting a Gundam.

The massive scale of the landscapes, as well as their splendor, is also impressive.  It’s been 10 years since the last Armored Core, and with this showing, Fromsoftware has effectively pulled me back in.

Lastly, instead of showing off Fromsoftware’s Armored Core 6 trailer, I’m going to drop several YouTuber’s videos instead, all chock-full of details and impressive from five hours of hands-on. There’s more to see, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy this all much better.

It’s fantastic to see everyone who has played the game being genuinely excited about it, and I can’t wait until the game releases to finally get my hands on Armored Core 6.

Armored Core 6 releases on August 25, 2023, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There’s also the Armored Core 6 Collector’s Edition and Armored Core 6 Premium Edition, which will also release on the same day.
