Manta Announces New Original Action Fantasy Series The Superheroes of Class F

By Josh PiedraMay 21, 2023

Manta is expanding its genre footprint with the release of The Superheroes of Class F on May 21. This action fantasy series, the first Manta Studio creation in the superhero genre, is available on the Manta app(Play Store, App Store) and Manta.net simultaneously in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Developed internally at Manta as an original production, The Superheroes of Class F follows the story of students at the Leaders Academy for the Superhumanly Gifted in a fictional South Korea, where young heroes learn to hone and control their powers. But whether those being trained in Class F are superheroes or supervillains is yet to be discovered.

Moonseok Jeong, COO and Head of Content at Manta said, “As storytellers, who are constantly pushing the limits of what is available for the fans, we are delighted to debut Manta Studio’s first title in a new genre with The Superheroes of Class F. Action fantasy stories have always been a popular genre among content enthusiasts, and we believe with our depth of expertise and experience in story creation, this new addition will bring an unprecedented level of excitement to our readers.”

Manta is a top digital comics platform best known for fantasy romance series such as Under the Oak Tree, Disobey the Duke if You Dare, and Finding Camellia. In the past year, it has expanded into additional types of storytelling, including superhero (The Superheroes of Class F), action (A Hard Day), and horror (Svaha: The Sixth Finger), with the goal of offering premium content for fans spanning many genres to binge, as part of its unique, subscription-based offering.
