KartRider: Drift Launches its Second Season

Nexon and Nitro Studios, the publisher and developer behind kart racing video game KartRider: Drift, are thrilled to announce the launch of Season 2, featuring a new theme titled World Kart Championship. This season promises to bring the excitement of high-speed racing with new tracks, new characters, Racing Pass in-game items, plus a brand-new collaboration!

Since its March release, the game has captivated gamers with its fast-paced action, vibrant graphics, and fun-filled gameplay. The game’s unique take on kart racing has won it a legion of fans around the globe, with many eagerly anticipating the release of new seasonal content.

During World Kart Championship season, players will get to experience the thrill of racing on famous tracks such as WKC: Korea Circuit and WKC: Brazil Circuit, complete with new obstacles and accessories. The new racetracks are designed to challenge players and keep them on the edge of their seats as they speed towards the finish line.

In addition to four new themed tracks, Season 2 will also introduce several new characters, such as Derek, Lodumani, and Tiera, plus KartRider: Drift will see a new set of characters through a collaboration with IPX’s globally popular character IP, BT21 – KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, and COOKY. Players will be able to unlock new KartRider: Drift characters as they progress through the free and Premium Racing Pass tiers; BT21 characters will be purchasable in the Item Shop. Also included in the Season 2 update is a new game mode (Infinite Boost mode), a player-supplied Decal Market, balloon accessory consumable, plus other quality of life improvements such as random parties and furthering your Driver’s License progress.

Season 2 of KartRider: Drift is available to download and play now on all major gaming platforms, including PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles, iOS and Android mobile devices.
