With all the weirdness and confusion going on with the DCEU/DCU, it’s interesting to see plenty of anticipation for the upcoming Blue Beetle movie. The fan-favorite character is coming to live-action for only the second time (see: Smallville) but this time with much more focus and attention. The first trailer has dropped for the summer blockbuster and it perfectly showcases how Jamie Reyes is just trying to live his best life for his family when a certain Scarab changes everything for him.
The suit for Jamie looks good, as do the effects of its powers. We even get teases of the large universe that Jamie envelopes, including the former Blue Beetle and some of his enemies! Check out the trailer below:
