Lies of P, which just so happens to be one of my favorite action RPGs and Soulslikes, is heading to the Epic Games Store on August 5, 2026. While the game has been enjoying its run on Steam for PC players, it will soon have one more digital storefront to call home.
However, since the title has enjoyed not only an amazing run on Steam, but also a DLC that was released not to long go, this release, dubbed the Lies of P Epic Games Store Launch Edition will include the base game, Lies of P: Overture, and the exclusive Mischievous Puppet’s Outfit. It is being positioned as a definitive digital collection for players who have yet to experience Krat, or for those who have been waiting for the game to arrive on Epic Games Store.
For those unfamiliar with Lies of P, the game is a dark action RPG inspired by the story of Pinocchio, placing players in the role of Geppetto’s puppet as they fight through the ruined city of Krat. The city has been consumed by the Puppet Frenzy, forcing players to battle through twisted streets, dangerous landmarks, and some of the more memorable boss encounters the genre has seen in recent years. When I reviewed Lies of P in 2023 and stated that the game “delivers an experience that’s both familiar and fresh.”
The one thing to keep in mind is that this Launch Edition will only be available for 30 days after release. So, if you have been holding out for an Epic Games Store version of Lies of P, or you somehow missed out on one of the better Soulslike releases in recent memory, this might be the version to keep an eye on.
