Tekken 8 Jun Kazama gameplay trailer released

By Keith MitchellMarch 28, 2023
TEKKEN 8 – Jun Kazama Gameplay Trailer (2)

Bandai Namco has released a new Tekken 8 Jun Kazama gameplay trailer. Yep, it turns out she’s been alive since the events of Tekken 3, and now after two decades, the ironic character makes her return, much to the shock of her son, Jin Kazama, and her baby daddy, Kazuya Mishima.

In the new Tekken 8 Jun Kazama gameplay trailer, we get to see the updated version of Jun, who looks like a mix of her Tekken 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 selves. She’s still sporting a white outfit with the same white headband. Her moveset looks to be similar to that of those games as well.

First up, we get to see Jun fighting against her son, who hasn’t seen her in over 20 years. Interestingly, the trailer doesn’t show any conversation between the two. However, that’s not so much when Jun faces off against Kazuya, who looks surprised to see her, remarking, “So you were alive all along.” It’s almost like he suspected that she was alive, somehow.

When the two faces off, it’s a one-sided fight, as Jun easily defeats Kazuya. However, when she does, she mentions, “We will cleanse this world of its evil and corruption.” Who exactly are we?

With this gameplay trailer, we’ve officially seen the confirmed roster for Tekken 8. Which begs to ask, who else will Bandai Namco reveal in the upcoming months? I have no idea, but I’m looking forward to being surprised.

  • Jin Kazama / Devil Jin
  • Kazuya Mishima / Devil Kazuya
  • Jun Kazama
  • Lars Alexandersson
  • Jack-8
  • King II
  • Nina Williams
  • Paul Phoenix
  • Marshall Law

Tekken 8 has no release date, and we don’t expect to see the game released until late 2023 or early 2024. Tekken 8 is a current-gen game and will only be available for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
