Usually when you hear about video game adaptations, you’re not filled with a sense of “oh, this is going to be good!” Even with recent ones like Sonic The Hedgehog being good…those films were tailored to kids and fans of the franchise. But with the upcoming HBO adaptation of The Last Of Us, things might get a big turnaround. And no, it’s not just because Pedro Pascal is in the series, though it does help. The show will take the beloved game and give it a new depth via the episodic format.
The premiere episode arrives on January 15th, and today we finally got a deeper look into what the show will look like. We see Joel, Ellie, and many other characters from the game throughout it. As well as some more shots of certain monsters they’ll encounter. Check out the trailer for The Last Of Us below!
