Sonic Frontiers Overview Trailer Breaks It All Down For Us

By Keith MitchellSeptember 1, 2022
Sonic Frontiers - Overview

A new overview trailer for the upcoming Sonic Frontier title has been released, and honestly, I’m not sure why Sega didn’t release this earlier. Why? Because this overview has done a fantastic job of providing just enough information about the game while teasing my interest in the game. It’s relatively well done and has me looking forward to the game.

Check out Sega’s Sonic Frontier Overview trailer.

Sonic Frontiers is a 3D platformer and action-adventure game that was teased during the 2021 Sonic Central Showcase and revealed during the 2021 The Game Awards.

In the game, players guide Sonic, as he explores the Starfall Islands, which comprise various biomes including flowery fields, forests, ancient ruins, and deserts. The story begins when Sonic, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Amy Rose are sucked through a wormhole, and Sonic is lost on a mysterious island, separated from Tails and Amy. Artificial intelligence will guide players as they seek to collect the Chaos Emeralds and find Sonic’s lost friends.

Still, I’m not too fond of the idea of Sonic and the open world, and why it has anything to do with Cyberspace. Still, I’ve always loved Sonic, and maybe I’m just a bit afraid of this being yet another game stuck in the Sonic Cycle, but I’m secretly rooting for it to be successful.

I’ll suppose I’ll find it just like the rest of the gaming world will when the game is released on November 8th, 2022, for all consoles and PC.
