As part of Netflix’s TUDUM Japan event, the streaming service announced that their hit show Aggretsuko would be returning for a fifth and final season.

In the teaser, we see Retsuko, the red panda protagonist, returning to work for the same company while secretly running for office in Japanese Parliament (at least, I think). At the same time, her will-they-won’t-they love interest Haida was kicked out of his apartment by his parents after the events of Season 4 and is now living in an Internet cafe. It also looks like from the images in the teaser, we will also be meeting Haida’s parents while Haida gets a potential lover interest/musical inspiration. How is this all going to end? Will Retsuko finally feel fulfilled in a job? Will she and Haida get together? Only one way to find out!
Aggretsuko Season 5 is set to premiere on Netflix sometime in February 2023.
