Death Battle Brings A Sword-Fueled Bonus Episode via Excalibur Vs Raiden!

By Todd BlackJuly 11, 2022
Excalibur Vs Raiden, Death Battle

Death Battle has always been a show about putting unique characters against one another. But that doesn’t mean they can’t get ASKED to have a unique fight. You might remember in 2020 when The Boys (read our review of Season 3!) sponsored a Battle Royale featuring The Seven and Billy Butcher. Well, now, the team behind Warframe, Digital Extremes, asked DB to put one of their characters into a fight. So…they did via Excalibur Vs Raiden!

Yeah, it’s two epic and robotic sword swinging ninjas/fighters going at it in the ultimate fight of supremacy. There are a few things to note here. First of all, Digital Extremes did NOT influence the victor no matter who wins/loses. They didn’t even pick Raiden to go up against Excalibur, that was Death Battle’s choices. The same rules of DB apply here despite the sponsorship. Second, as this is a bonus episode, they played things a little differently in terms of the episode breakdown.
