Ubisoft Leaks Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Release Date

Dang it, Ubisoft, you just had one more day to announce the release date for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Nintendo already announced its Mini Direct for its 3rd party buddies, but instead, you ended up leaking the release date, which happens to be October 20, 2022. Well, there goes that — not that I’m complaining.

Two images were also released, along with the release date, which you can see below. They look too clean to be screenshots, so they’re likely in-game cinematics.

While Ubisoft finally caught on to its bunder and removed the listing from the Ubisoft store. The damage has already been done, and the release date is out there. I’m sure someone in Ubisoft is being chewed out for this mistake. That is if this was even a mistake.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the follow-up to Ubisoft’s excellent Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle for the Nintendo Switch.

With this reveal, that’s another game added to October 2022, which is staking up to a month full of gaming. Let’s take a look, shall we?

October 7th – Marvel’s Midnight Suns
October 11th – Forspoken
October 18th – A Plague Tale: Requiem
October 20th – Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
October 21st – Persona 5 Royal (Xbox) and  Scorn
October 25th – Gotham Knights

I’m pretty sure I missed something, but even still, that’s a lot of gaming. October is looking like a good time to take off time off from work, doesn’t it?
