Console crossplay support to come at a later date

Now that our ys live, we wanted to answer a question that we’ve been asked repeatedly. Except, we couldn’t answer that due to NDA’s and embargos. We’re the good guys, and we’d like to remain that way. So, to answer the million-dollar question, “Does TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge support crossplay?”

Well, yes, it does—but it’s limited.

As it stands right now, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge supports crossplay on the PC (Windows Store and Steam) and the Xbox platforms. This means that anyone on the PC can play with those on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as long as they are using Steam or the Windows Store. This does not count the Epic Game Store version.

That’s it. There is no crossplay between the PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch consoles. However, Dotemu has stated that crossplay between the consoles is something they are looking into down the road.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Steam and Windows Store versions of the game can also play with the Epic Game Store version.

So, if you want to get your TMNT party on, it will have to be the Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Windows Store)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge releases on June 16, 2022, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam, Windows Store, Epic Games Store). It’s also backward compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Check out our TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge review, and thanks for stopping by!
