Splatoon 3 Gets Its First Official Music Track!

By Todd BlackJune 24, 2022
Splatoon 3, Splatoon 3 Direct

One of the things that the Splatoon franchise is known for is their unique music that plays in the Turf Wars and other fights in the game. The SplatFests are even based off of concerts focused on the singer characters of the universe. Callie and Marie, then Pearl and Marina have commanded the stage every time they’re on it, and Splatoon 3 is going to be the same way no doubt.

In fact, we actually got some insight into that, as the first musical track from them has arrived. Apparently, Off The Hook has gotten some new members and are now calling themselves “Damp Socks, Featuring Off The Hook”. You can hear the first track of theirs below, and more are on the way!

Splatoon 3 meanwhile will arrive in September.

You’re listening to “Candy-Coated Rocks,” the latest from Damp Socks feat. Off the Hook. Our audio anthropologist says Marina’s subtle piano work wraps around the guitar like an eel wrapping itself around whatever eels wrap themselves around (she’s not an eel scientist). pic.twitter.com/bQEr4Aor16
