Shin Megami Tensei V Sells Over One Million Units

In celebration of the game reaching this milestone, the character designer for the game Masayuki Doi created a special art piece of the protagonist as the Nahobino. With the caption of thanking the fans for reaching one million sales. To see that one million players have come to embrace godhood is a nice statistic to see. This comes after the last sales news of the game reaching 800K units at the beginning of the year.

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place in Japan in which the land is caught in a war between the Angels and Demons. The protagonist gets caught in the conflict and the only way to survive is to fuse with an Aogami and become a Demi-god known as a Nahobino. It is then up to the player whether to align with the angels, demons, or the neutral path. As has been the main theme for the Shin Megami series. You can read our review of the game here.

Shin Megami Tensei V is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
