Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Gives You All the Frames

By Josh PiedraNovember 24, 2021
Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles

If you have been playing Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles, and were unsatisfied with the performance, a new update to the game might just be what you have been looking for! The game has added a 60fps mode to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Steam versions of the game.

The frame boost update, according to SEGA, is for “controllable sections of exploration and combat in Story mode and certain controllable sections in the offline Versus mode.”

In addition to the frame boost, two new DLC characters were added in the update: Yahaba and Susamaru

Yahaba generates arrows that manipulate directional forces with his Blood Demon Art. You can pierce enemies with the arrows or use them to slam them into the ground. You can even use them on geometry, such as rocks, to hurl them at your opponent. The arrows come in two varieties: damage-dealing and non-damage-dealing. The non-damage-dealing arrows are meant for you to put some space between you and your opponent before going on the offensive.

Susamaru uses decorative thread balls, called Mari, to keep her distance from her opponent.  She can hurl her Mari at enemies while in motion, giving her great defense against close-quarter enemies and allowing for good mobility. You can also use this to lure enemies into a combo set-up.
