Main Kingdom Hearts Titles Coming To Nintendo Switch

By Todd BlackOctober 5, 2021
Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Kingdom Hearts, Sora

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Sora from Kingdom Hearts has been announced as the final DLC character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. This is big news that EVERYONE should be happy about (you know, unless you’re a Heartless), but in a major surprise, that wasn’t the only news that Nintendo had on the subject.

As he detailed in his final Mr. Sakurai Presents video, Masahiro Sakurai revealed that via Cloud Gaming, the main Kingdom Hearts titles would FINALLY be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Specifically, the remix versions that featured the main two KH titles as well as Chain of Memories, Dream Drop Distance and the 2.8 Prologue, and of course, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available t play as well.

There has been no release date given for this yet, so be on the lookout for when Square Enix reveals more. Either way, this is going to be a major moment for Nintendo fans who have supported this franchise for so long.

The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter made a special post about this as well:

"Like, is any of this for real or not?"
