With Gamescom next week, we’re starting to see a slew of teases and pre-event trailers for some of the big reveals. One of those big reveals is seemingly a Saints Row reboot teased by none other than Geoff Keighly himself. There’s not a whole lot to go off of from the tweet, but the game’s signature logo was a dead giveaway.

With the exception of the various remasters and offshoots such as Agents of Mayhem, the franchise has been dormant since Saints Row IV was released in 2013 with mentions of a fifth game circulating periodically. The four previous titles were developed by Deep Silver Volition and they will be returning to helm the reboot according to what can be gleaned from the franchise’s official website that has also been recently updated to mention the new installment.

Gamescom begins on Wednesday, August 25th and Saints Row is going to be one of many big reveals if any of the previous years are any indication of what’s in store.
