Wayforward and Arc Systems Teaming Up With Rooster Teeth To Make RWBY Arrowfell

By Todd BlackJuly 9, 2021
RWBY Arrowfell

The RWBY franchise from Rooster Teeth has become one of the biggest animation projects around. As there is a main show, a Chibi-style comedy show, a “Grimm Campaign” that is set in the world, there are books, there are comics, and of course, there are video games. And at the RWBY panel during RTX At Home (where they also showed off a glimpse of the next season of the show), the team announced a brand new addition to the gaming side of things…RWBY Arrowfell.

This game is going to be made in conjunction between Rooster Teeth, WayForward (the team behind Shantae and others), and Arc Systems (the team behind Guilty Gear and others). What’s more, this action Metroidvania style game WILL be canon in the series and be set during the events of RWBY Volume 8 that premiered last year. You’ll be able to play as the four main members of the team and there will be full voice-acting and even cutscenes done by the Rooster Teeth crew.

You can see the first look at it below, RWBY Arrowfell will arrive in 2022.
