Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 2 Teased

By Todd BlackJune 10, 2021
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 2 Ubisoft

The Nintendo Switch has had a lot of surprise over its 4+ years of life, and that doubles when you look at the 3rd party support that they’ve gotten from various companies. Titles like Octopath Traveler, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Astral Chain, and more proved that these 3rd party titles wouldn’t just be good on Switch. They’d be million-sellers.

Easily one of the most successful of the lot was the unusual title known as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The game fused the realms of Mario and the Rabbids into one, and it was…really good! And because of that, fans have been waiting for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 2 to be announced and could be called Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Well, if industry analyst Nick Baker is to be believed, we might get that sequel sooner rather than later. Because on Twitter, he made the following teaser image:

Yes, it does seem to indicate that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle 2 could be announced at the upcoming E3 2021, which is only days away. If so, this would be a huge win for Nintendo and would shore up what they’re aiming to have for the rest of their 2021 season.

If you haven’t played the first one, you should go get it now, and check out our review of the game!
