Dead By Daylight Gets A New Killer and Survivors From Resident Evil Next Month

Dead By Daylight has become a bit of a phenomenon since its release back in 2016. The asymmetric survival horror title has become a staple on Twitch and continuously adds new content to keep players coming back. After Capcom teased it back at their showcase last month, we now know that the hotly anticipated Resident Evil crossover with Dead By Daylight will be coming to all consoles on June 15th.

Dead By Daylight – Resident Evil Chapter brings the world of Capcom’s horror franchise to that of Dead By Daylight. Joining the extensive roster of Survivors are Resident Evil fan favorites Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy. Being able to have a team-up with heroes from Resident Evil, Cheryl from Silent Hill, and Ash from The Evil Dead is the kind of fan-fiction fodder that horror fans are sure to eat right up.

From the ravaged streets of Raccoon City to the black Fog of the Entity’s Realm. The hunt is on.

In addition to Jill and Leon coming on as Survivors, we will also be seeing a new Killer running around and wreaking havoc on players. Resident Evil 3’s big bad, Nemesis, will be playable as you go on your quest to hunt down the Survivors trying to complete their objectives. Nemesis is a hulking behemoth that utilizes its big gross tendrils and brute force strength to get the job done.

Aside from new playable characters, the ever-popular location of the Racoon City Police Department will also be available as part of the expansion. If you’ve played the remake of Resident Evil 2, the new map will be very familiar but with some tweaks to make it fit the signature gameplay style of Dead By Daylight.

Dead By Daylight – Resident Evil Chapter releases on June 15th on all platforms. For the full rundown of what we touched on here and more, check out the official Dead By Daylight website.
