AnimeFest 2021 Goes Virtual

By Josh PiedraMay 1, 2021

Due to our favorite thing in the whole wide world, COVID-19, this year’s in-person AnimeFest 2021 has been canceled. It has been replaced with an online virtual event which is set to broadcast on July 31,

The original event was scheduled from July 30 to August 2 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to AnimeFest, GameFest has also been canceled. Staff members are currently working with local hotels to see if an in-person event can be scheduled for later this year.  That will all depend on COVID-19 infection rates as well as vaccination rates.
