Martin Kove States Cobra Kai Season 4 Has Wrapped Production

By Todd BlackMay 1, 2021

We here at The Outerhaven are big fans of Cobra Kai. The show started out on Youtube Red but then was sold to Netflix and got a major boost in popularity, ensuring that it would live on for some time. Sure enough, in February, production on Cobra Kai Season 4 started and teases started to go out as to what might come.

Fast forward to the last day of April, and Martin Kove, who plays the character of John Kreese, made a very important announcement about Season 4 of Cobra Kai:

Tonight, myself and the entire crew of COBRA KAI S4 officially wrapped! What a season, And what a year. A crew that is fearless and shows no mercy, through Covid we pushed on! See picture for full post. pic.twitter.com/lNVWSdDkno

So yeah! It appears as though Cobra Kai Season 4 is done filming and is now going to go and enter post-production. This is a bit shocking given the big turn around but remember, this is a half-hour show (give or take) that only had 10 episodes per season. So if shot the right way the turnaround for seasons can be quick.

Regardless, now the question is about release dates. Well, Netflix has already mentioned that Cobra Kai Season 4 will release in late 2021 or early 2022. It just depends on how certain things go. But at least fans can take heart in that the next season is done and that the wait won’t be THAT much longer.
