Best Places To Farm World Tier In Outriders

Outriders Review Header

Once you’ve hit level 30 in Outriders, the only thing that matters is World Tier. However, it’s not as simple as jumping into a level and killing enemies, and you’ll have to plan accordingly. Trust me; I know all about that. So I figured I’d help you all out on some of the better ways to farm world tier and a few suggestions to help you stay the path.

Raise your world tier while farming

The short answer to this is yes. The longer answer is, you should raise it as far as you can go and be comfortable. If you don’t set the world tier to the highest level you already earned, you won’t be able to farm or progress to the next world tier.

However, if you jump up to high and are undergeared, you’ll find that the grind is going to a huge pain. Instead, try to gear up and craft a build that will allow you to dish out some damage and survive while doing so. Then tackle the higher world tiers.

Be careful not to die while farming

I’m sure by now that you’ve noticed that while farming world tier, that if you die, you’ll lose a bit every time you die. This is part of the frustrating process, and if you continue to die, you’ll wipe out what progress you’ve made. However, it won’t go past your current world tier, meaning that you can’t lose the world tiers you’ve already earned. Keep this in mind while farming, and the higher the world tier you go up, the harder the enemies will be.

Best places to farm world tier

While there are several places in Outriders that one can farm world tier, I’m just going to cut to the chase and give you the best places to farm. The trick is to find locations with lots of enemies to mow down and repeat the process. For me, I’ve found that the areas below give you the best farming opportunities. To farm the world tier, you’ll need to progress through the areas, get to the end and then exit to the lobby. Repeat until you’ve hit world tier 15.

  • First City – Reach the other side of the river (leave before crossing the bridge)
  • Deadpass Town – Escort Marshall Bailey and her captive to Trenchtown (finish)
  • Trench Town – Push back the Insurgents in No Man’s Land (don’t fight the boss)
  • Quarry – Lower the outpost bridge so the convoy can enter the Quarry (finish)

Out of these, you’ll want to finish the Deadpass Town and Quarry levels. The reason for this is there is a chance for an epic at the end of those. The First City and Trench Town can finish off the enemies and then exit to the lobby before proceeding.

Personally, I feel that farming the Trench Town spot is the best. There’s a nice amount of enemies, including the tougher variety that helps rack up the WT. However, if you’re looking for a quick WT farm, the First City loop is the fastest, but it doesn’t give as much WT. Of course, give them all a try and decide for yourself.

Here’s what the First City loop looks like. It’s a quick dash around the area, drawing the enemies to you. Then smashing them all, and then doing it again a few more times. Finally, exiting to the lobby to do it again. It’s fast, but again you don’t get much in terms of WT. Still, do it a few times, and it makes up for it. Plus, it is the easiest method so far. While you’re doing this, don’t forget to push down on the d-pad or pressing “h” on your keyboard to auto-loot those items that drop.

Get your world tier up, get better gear, and you’ll be ready to tackle the expeditions, which is the endgame content for Outriders.

Outriders is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, and PC. Are you playing it now? If so, let us know what you think about the game in the comments.
