Today via a Twitter post, Andrzej Zawadzki has announced that he has departed from the Polisher developer, CD Projekt Red. For those who aren’t familiar with the name, Andrzej Zawadzki started with CD Projekt Red as a QA Tester and eventually moved up to Junior Gameplay Designer and eventually the Senior Gameplay Designer for Cyberpunk 2077.

As of now, Andrzej Zawadzki hasn’t stated where he’ll end up next, only that “It’s time for the new adventure.”

Following the release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red due to several issues with the game. To which death threats were sent to the CD Projekt Red developers, something that should never happen and is completely wrong. Andrzej Zawadzki took to Twitter to announce this frustration regarding this tactic and eventually dropped off Twitter for a while.

As you can imagine, this may have some impact on future content for Cyberpunk 2077. As of now, we can’t say for sure how Andrzej Zawadzki’s departure could affect this. I’m sure that’s the least of CD Projekt Red’s concerns as the company is still dealing with the aftermath of the cyberattack, the theft of its intellectual properties, and the state of Cyberpunk 2077, which is still up in the air.

Regardless of that, I want to wish Andrzej Zawadzki nothing but the best in his new venture. Whatever or wherever that may end up being.
