Wataten 5: 1st Solo Concert Delicious Smile! to Stream Overseas

By Josh PiedraJanuary 18, 2021

Wataten☆5, a vocal unit consisting of the main cast members of Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me (Maria Sashide, Rika Nagae, Akari Kito, Hitomi Owada, and Naomi Ozora), have announced that their first solo concert, “Delicious Smile!”, will be streamed overseas as well. The stream will be available in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to stream the group’s commemorative first solo concert online to ensure fans’ safety. The concert, which will be pay-per-view, will begin at 20:00 on February 6. For fans who cannot watch in realtime, the archive will be available for one week from February 6 to February 12.

Although Wataten☆5 has performed many times before, this will be their first performance for overseas fans, so please don’t miss it. Tickets for the overseas stream will be available from 12:00 on January 20 to 6:00 PM on February 10 (JST). The archive viewing period is until 11:59 PM on February 12 (JST).

Leading up to their first solo live, a longer version of “Delicious Smile” will be uploaded on January 18; however, you can check out a clip of it below:
