Arcade1UP reveals new arcade cabs at CES 2021 including An X-Men Arcade Cab

By Keith MitchellJanuary 11, 2021

CES 2021 has stated that Arcade 1UP has already made some huge announcements right out of the game. Know for its pre-fab arcade kits that take a few hours to assemble. The company has revealed six new arcade cabinets. While there’s currently no pricing or availability for any of these, there are several cabinets that arcade fans have been asking about for quite some time.

Among these is the X-Men four-player cabinet that includes a riser, Killer Instinct cabinet with Riser, Dragon’s Lair cabinet (with riser), Atari Legacy Edition cabinet (with riser), Capcom Legacy Edition cabinet (with riser), Bandai Namco Legacy Edition cabinet (with riser) and the Pong four-player pub table. Expect to see and hear more regarding these arcade cabs throughout the virtual CES 2021.

Below I’ve broken down each cabinet, along with an image and which games are included. That said, I’m looking forward to the Killer Instinct and X-Men Four-Player cab, the latter which give some hope that eventually we’ll see a Simpsons Arcade as well. Assuming Konami still has the rights to it.

Killer Instinct Arcade Cab

As stated, this design isn’t final and will change, thankfully. This plain black look doesn’t fit this iconic fighting game series.

Included games:

  • Battletoads Arcade Game
  • Battletoads/Double Dragon (SNES/Genesis)
  • Killer Instinct
  • Killer Instinct 2

X-Men The Arcade Game Cab

Included games:

  • X-Men The Arcade Game
  • Captain America and The Avengers
  • The Avengers in Galactic Storm

Dragon’s Lair cabinet

This cabinet features two different themes, one showcasing the Dragon’s Lair game, while the other shows off Space Ace.

Included games:

  • Dragon’s Lair
  • Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp
  • Space Ace

Capcom Legacy Edition Arcade Cabinet

This will be quite the cab for fighting game fans as it features six Street Fighter games and Dark Stalkers. The other games aren’t too bad, either. I suspect this is why the original Street Fighter Arcade1Up cab ended up being discontinued.

Included games:

  • 1944
  • Commando
  • Darkstalkers
  • Final Fight
  • Ghosts n Goblins
  • Street Fighter
  • Street Fighter II: World Warrior
  • Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
  • Street Fighter II: Turbo
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
  • Super Street Fighter II: Turbo
  • Strider

Atari Legacy Edition Arcade Cabinet

Included games:

  • Asteroids
  • Asteroids Deluxe
  • Centipede
  • Major Havoc
  • Missile Command
  • Akka Arrh
  • Crystal Castles
  • Tempest
  • Millipede
  • Gravitar
  • Liberator
  • Space Duel

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Legacy Edition Arcade Cabinet

Included games:

  • Dig Dug
  • Dig Dug II
  • Galaga
  • Galaxian
  • Mappy
  • Pac & Pal
  • Pac-Land
  • Pac-Man
  • Pac-Man Plus
  • Pac-Mania
  • Rompers
  • Super Pac-Man

Pong 4 Player Pub Table

Included games:

  • Circus Atari
  • Pong
  • Pong Doubles
  • Pong Sports
  • Quadrapong
  • Warlords
  • Super Breakout
  • Tempest

Do any of these arcade cabinets look exciting to you? I know I really would love to get both the X-Men 4-Player and the Capom Legacy, for reasons. Let us know in the comments.
