Yakuza: Like a Dragon Next Generation Trailer Revealed

By William "Shadowz" KokOctober 20, 2020

You got to give props to SEGA with this trailer.

While the PS4  will be receiving Yakuza: Like a Dragon on November 10, one can’t help but wonder how the next generation consoles of PS5 and Xbox Series X can optimize the game.  SEGA has given details of how it will be optimized for next-gen with this newest trailer. It is interesting that for this trailer, it specifically states for the Xbox Series X and not for PS5. Can’t help but wonder why they omitted the PS5.

The benefits of playing on next-gen are near-instant load times and optimized visuals. But even better is the “Next Gen Crustacean A.I”, Lightning-Fast Party support, and optimized protagonist optimism. This is perhaps the most important part of the game. You need a strong optimistic protagonist and having a true crustacean AI implemented is also a nice focus on detail. Course this is all in good fun.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is shaping up to be a great November title and you won’t go wrong if you pick it up for Xbox Series X and PS5.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is set to release on PS4 on November 10. It will also be released for next-gen consoles for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when they release.
