Mileena and Rain make their return in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2

By Keith MitchellOctober 8, 2020

Here we go fellow Mortal Kombat players! The purple “my what large teeth you have” assassin we all loved and missed is back! That’s right, Mileena, the clone sister of Kitana, and the result of combining human DNA with a Tarkatan is making her return. She previously met her fate at the hands of D’Vorah in Mortal Kombat X. I suppose now that the timelines have been messed with, anything is possible.

Rain is also back. The master of water, a prince, and aptly named after a song from the artist formerly known as Prince. He hasn’t been playable in a Mortal Kombat game since he was added in the Mortal Kombat (2011) via DLC.

Finally, we have Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo character is also joining in on the fun, with Sly also voicing the character. He looks like he stepped right of the movie, complete with a light machine gun and cigar in hand. Interestingly enough, we now have three cult movie characters in the game, with Rambo, Robocop, and Terminator.

All three characters joining the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, on November 17th, 2020.

All three characters will be available in two ways. The newly announced Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate edition, which includes the base game, all of the previously announced DLC and expansion (Aftermath). Which is perfect for new players who haven’t picked up Mortal Kombat 11 yet. Or Kombat Pack 2, which includes all three characters, for those who already own a copy of the game.

Both versions will be available for pre-order on October 15th, 2020, and available to play as of November 17th, 2020. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is priced at $59.99, while Kombat Pack 2 is priced at $14.99. Pre-ordering either will also provide access to the Time Warriors Skin Pack at launch featuring three new character skin variants, including “Dark Web” Noob Saibot, “HCF” (Halt and Catch Fire) Liu Kang, and “Blood Moon” Skarlet.

That’s not all, as it has been confirmed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Mortal Kombat 11 (all versions) will have free upgrades to the next generation versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The upgraded versions will see numerous visual upgrades, 4K dynamic resolution, reduced load times, and will feature cross-play and cross-gen with current generation consoles/PC. That way, no one is left out of the fun.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2 will be available for PS4 PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Switch, and Stadia on November 17th, 2020.
