The Mandalorian Season 2 airs on Disney+ in October

By Keith MitchellSeptember 15, 2020

This is the Way, Again!

Here we go! Disney has just announced that Season 2 of ‘The Mandalorian‘ is set to kick off on October 30th, 2020.  This is also one month ahead of the rumored return date. I don’t know about you, but I can not wait.

"Wherever I go, he goes." Watch the brand new trailer for #TheMandalorian and start streaming the new season Oct. 30, only on #DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/2IruNHvTig

At the end of the first season, Din Djarin / Mando was tasked with finding the home of “Bady Yoda” and reuniting it with its family. Which isn’t going to be an easy thing to do since no one has any clue as to where to start. There’s also something about,  what did they say, enemy sorcerers, called the Jedi. And while we didn’t see them in the teaser, we did see a pair of X-Wings!

Oh yes, this is going to be good.

While the announcement featured a teaser trailer that gave us a glimpse of many things we’re going to experience. Including Baby Yoda imitating Mando, which is always so cute.

What wasn’t show and want’s got my inner child excited is the showing of the Darksaber, also shown at the end of the first season in the hands of Moff Gideon. But word is that Bo-Katan Kryze, who also welded the Darksaber, will make an appearance in Season 2 as well. There’s just something about that weapon that appeals to me, even more so than the traditional Light Sabers used by Jedi’s and the Sith.

Greef Karga played by Carl Weathers and Cara Dune played by Gina Carano, are also returning.

Bring on Season 2, the wait has been long enough. I can’t wait to sit down and watch Mando in action, after a hard day at work. While the wifey won’t stop talking about how adorable Baby Yado is. Can we PLEASE get the actual name so people can stop saying BABY YODA!!

Update: Check out this cool poster for Season 2 below.
