Nintendo Entertainment Podcast – Episode 189 – What A Pair

By Todd BlackJuly 10, 2020

The Nintendo Entertainment Podcast is here once again, and though one of the hosts is out (again…) that isn’t stopping the other two from picking up the slack to deliver a great show!

First up, Todd and Will talk about their recent gaming experiences, and there are rants aplenty! Will dives into the complicated issues surrounding The Last of Us Part 2, and then Todd dives into why he doesn’t like the recent Summer banner on Fire Emblem Heroes! Oh yeah, this is going to get good.

Then, in the news, Nintendo is dropping a surprise Nintendo Treehouse Live on Friday for Paper Mario The Origami King! What do Todd and Will think about this? Also, Todd breaks down his time with Pokemon Journeys! Does he think the first 12 episodes of the new series holds up? And what pitfalls does the series need to overcome? Add to that Nintendo Direct news (possibly), Breath of the Wild 2’s release date (in rumor only) and…Todd pitching Nintendo to buyout Ninja?

Finally, in the main event, Todd and Will talk remasters and what Nintendo classics would do really well with a remaster on the Switch! Their picks might surprise you so check it out!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!

Don’t forget that we want YOUR suggestions for opening themes for future episodes of the podcast! Send your NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, or Nintendo DS suggestions to us via Twitter!
