Retro FPS title Project Warlock heads to PS4 on June 9th

By Keith MitchellMay 22, 2020

Watch out you retro first-person shooter PlayStation fans, as Project Warlock has been announced for the PlayStation 4. It will be available on June 9th, 2020. While just so happens to right smack in the middle of PlayStation’s Days of Play event.

If you’ve ever played the original DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D, or Hexen, then Project Warlock will be right up your alley. It plays just like those games, just with a better framerate, more guns, huge and exciting bosses, and lots of weapons.

Originally released for the PC in 2018, Project Warlock has been received well by the gaming community and I had asked the developer, Gaming Company, over and over if this would ever get ported. I guess I have my answer now.

If you have access to a PC, you can give the demo a try right now. The game runs most PCs and laptops as the requirements aren’t high. Or just wait for the PS4 version. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.

Project Warlock heads to the PlayStation 4 on June 9th, 2020.
