CD Projekt Red teases a Cyberpunk 2077 event for June

By Keith MitchellMay 5, 2020

While several companies including EA and Microsoft, have already announced their big events for Summer 2020, now CD Projekt Red has teased an event for Cyberpunk 2077. That’s right, it would seem the polish developer is ready to show the game to the world and they’re doing things their own way.

Night City Wire, as it’s being called, will be hosted on June 11th, 2020. We don’t know what time yet, but we’re sure that CD Projekt Red will let us know when they’re ready.

But what can we expect from this event? Well, hopefully, we’ll see new gameplay footage… wait, I’m sure we’ll see plenty of that. It seems the company wants to keep it as a surprise, as the Global Community Lead is simply teasing us all with “Stuff will be shown!”.

As for me, I wouldn’t mind seeing another collector’s edition or even an announcement for new CE’s going live. I missed it last time. Though, getting back to gameplay, I wouldn’t mind seeing the game running on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Or, possibly even the Xbox Series X or PS5.

One thing is for sure, Night City Wire is going to be to one of the more eagerly anticipated events of Summer 2020. The entire world wants more Cyberpunk 2077 news and we’re sure CD Projekt Red is keenly aware.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on September 17, 2020, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will be released at a later date.
