NieR:Automata heads to Xbox Game Pass on April 2nd

NieR: Automata

During the Square Enix 10-anniversary, not only did the company announce NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Now they’ve also announced that NieR: Automata will be available for Xbox Game Pass on April 2nd, 2020.

Seeing that the game is making its way to Xbox Game Pass, the question is will this also be available for the PC. As you may be aware, Xbox Game Pass is available for both Xbox One and Windows 10, however, there are differences in game selection depending on the platform. I suppose we’ll have to wait to see how this pans out, but it would be nice for NieR: Automata to also come to Xbox Game Pass for PC. Otherwise, the game is currently available for the PC via Steam.

NieR: Automata was originally released for the PS4, then ported over to the PC (Steam). An Xbox One version, NieR: Automata – Become as Gods, was released a year later and despite countless doubts, the title went to sell very well on the console. So well that across all platforms the game has hit 4.5 million copies sold. A feat that not many expected, seeing how the first NieR title was considered a failure.

Look for NieR:Automata on Xbox Game Pass this April 2nd, 2020.
