Limited Run Games Streets of Rage 4 physical editions to go on sale tomorrow

Previously we reported that Limited Run Games was planning on producing a limited run of the upcoming Streets of Rage 4. Today, they announced their plans on when we can expect that to go live and what will be include. If you’re a fan of collecting games and cool physical editions, you’re going to want to get this.

Tomorrow at 10 AM EST, the pre-order for the physical edition of Streets of Rage 4 will go up. There will be 2 standard editions for the PS4 and Switch, along with two classic editions. You can head over to Limitedrungames.com right now to check out the offerings, or to keep pressing the refresh button. 

The standard versions are priced at $34.99 and include the following for the PS4 and Switch;

Limited Run Games Streets of Rage Standard PS4

  • Reversible Bare Knuckle IV cover art
  • Instruction manual

While the classic editions are priced at $59.99 and will include the following for the PS4 and Switch:

Limited Run Games Streets of Rage Classic Switch

  • Limited Run #65: Streets of Rage 4 (PS4 or Switch)
  • Reversible “Bare Knuckle IV” cover art and an instruction manual.
  • G2 SteelBook Case
  • A custom Genesis clamshell case with reversible cover sheet sized to fit both the SteelBook case and the standard game case.
  • A PS4 or Switch platform branded slipcover.

The cool thing about the Classic Edition is the case looks like a Genesis / Mega Drive game case.

Limited Run Games Streets of Rage 4 glamour

Then there’s the big daddy of them all, the March 20th Streets Of Rage Mega-Bundle, priced at $189.99. This includes 2x Standard and Classic Editions, plus four Streets of Rage 4 Limited Run Games Trading Cards and a random Limited Run Games Trading Card from past or future games. 

If you’re interested, make you’re at the Limited Run Games Website tomorrow at 10 AM EST to get your pre-order/s in. I know I will be. As for Streets of Rage 4, the game still has a tentative release date of Spring 2020, but with COVID-19 making the rounds, don’t be surprised if it ends up being delayed.
