It was announced that Tite Kubo’s one-shot manga, Burn the Witch, will be receiving a television anime adaptation. The story is about two witches that work for the western branch of Soul Society.
Studio Colorido will be handling the production of the show with Tatsuro Kawano (Psycho-Pass 2) helming the project. In addition to the anime, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump announced that Burn the Witch will also receive a short manga series. Tite Kubo said that the manuscripts for the manga have already been completed and joked that by the time fans read it, he will be playing Anime Crossing: New Horizons.
At least he has his priorities straight!
As of now, there is no information on when the anime is set to air.
