Check out this brand new trailer for Outriders

Leave humanity behind

A brand new trailer for Square Enix’s and People Can Fly, Outriders was released today. In this new trailer, we can see this game will not only take place in a vibrant, yet a horrific world, but also will be a shooter with RPG elements. We can also see that 1-3 players can play in a 3rd person perspective, and can drop in and out. This means you’ll be able to invite friends into current ongoing sessions as needed.

Of course with People Can Fly at the helm, we can expect plenty of off the wall gameplay mechanics. This is the very same studio that gave us Bulletstorm and well, that game was bizarre yet the gunplay was amazingly fun.

Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal. Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.

Not much else is known about the gameplay mechanics as of yet I’m interested in seeing how they plan on making Outriders stand out for the other RPG Shooters that are currently available.  On that note, we won’t have to wonder for long as there will be a Livestream on February 13th, 2020 at 12 PM PST / 3 PM EST on Twitch. During this Livestream, Square Enix promises plenty of gameplay and more, so don’t miss out.

Outriders will be released this Holiday 2020, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, as well as the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
